What StarkWare Perps is
Starknet Perpetuals is StarkWare's engine for running a decentralised perpetuals exchange: self-custodial positions, trustless settlement, and leveraged exposure to synthetic assets against posted collateral.
A position holds one collateral asset and one or more synthetics, and the exchange operator defines the initial and maintenance margin requirements, with funding and liquidations keeping leveraged positions solvent.
