What Venus Protocol Isolated Pools is
Venus is an algorithmic money market on BNB Chain: users supply assets to earn interest and borrow against their portfolio.
Isolated pools are its answer to the core pool's concentrated risk. Each pool is its own market with its own Comptroller, risk parameters and vTokens, so a volatile asset can be listed without exposing every other market, and a per-pool risk fund with shortfall auctions absorbs the bad debt a pool generates.
