What Is The Bug Deep Dive Series

In the first place, check out the post on my introduction, if you don't know who I am (how would you end up here though? 😅).

The Bug Deep Dive series is the resource for studying for audit contests. Until now, the answer to "how do I study for audit contests?" was a blunt read reports, which is not much help. This series exists to fix that, collecting the best findings, curated by me (still don't know me? Read the introduction post).

What Are The Advantages Over Audit Reports

Complementary Resources

Audit reports are not written to teach, so for newcomers it can be hard to follow what is going on. The deep dives here add whatever resources are needed to understand the issue properly.

Alpha

Wherever possible I add the key insight behind the finding: how to find similar bugs, what led the author to it, why it is a good bug, what most people miss, how to frame it well, and which judging rules to keep in mind.

When Will They Be Posted

I intend to post a bug each day, in the UTC afternoon, so you know when to check The Contest Academy and X to engage with it and ask questions!

How Can I Ask Questions

The deep dives are published on X at around the same time, so you can ask questions in the thread and I will help as much as I can.
